Severn Home Learning Week 2
This week has again seen another great effort by children and their families to produce some super work. It has been really nice to connect with many of you and receive so many great photographs showing all the learning and fun taking place in your homes. Thank you for all your efforts despite the difficult circumstances. Enjoy a super Easter, why not make a bonnet, photograph it and send it to Mrs Nicol for the competition. There is also a list of possible activities available to everyone over the two week holiday period. Best wishes to you all and stay safe.
Golden Apple Work Week 1
Children and their parents were asked (in Mrs Nicols' daily blog) to take a look at their week's work and nominate a piece of work to receive a golden apple. The children and their parents created 'homemade' golden apples ready to give out. One child received a golden apple from their Dad for their amazing 'working out' in maths, another received an apple from their mum for fantatstic handwriting and another received an apple from their Dad for writing such a wonderful poem about water.
Mrs Nicol received a surprise video from Jude and Jesse on Friday morning. Jude and Jesse had enjoyed a celebration assembly in their lounge on Wednesday. It was just perfect - they walked into music from John Williams, sat down and did the normal assembly greeting then Jude presented two golden apples to his friends (who weren't there but were being sent a video of the assembly). It was such a beautiful assembly - thank you Jude.
